We believe that skincare should always make us feel good.

Kkot, meaning flower in Korean ( 꽃 ), is a Seattle-based skincare brand born out of a family's collective health struggles.

Our journey started with a simple idea: to create natural and effective skincare products that are backed by scientific research.

Our Process

Each of our products is infused not only with effective herbs, but also with the spirit of a chosen figure whose life journey inspired its creation.

Our innovative, and scientifically-researched recipes are formulated by our in-house expert who carefully selects our naturally-sourced, chemical-free ingredients.

  • Heung

    Our master gardener is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. After a long career as an engineer, he overcame a period of severe illness and decided to pursue a career in Eastern medicine.

    Utilizing his background in herbal medicine, he's done extensive research to formulate our skincare and beauty products!

  • Tammi

    Tammi, the youngest in the family, has had eczema since infancy. Symptoms would come and go over time, but in college, she struggled to find any lotions that wouldn't cause severe irritation. At that point, Heung knew he had to find a different solution for her and started making lotions at home and shipped them all the way to the East coast from Seattle.

  • Hyeri

    Affectionately known as mom, Hyeri tried a wide array of solutions to help Tammi's childhood struggles with eczema. She wanted to help her child in anyway that she could. She now uses her experiences as a musician, educator, and salesperson in driving Kkot's sales and marketing.

  • Jinsan

    The businessman behind the scenes and Tammi's older brother has been witness to his family's illnesses. He knew that there were other families out there who also needed access to quality care and wanted to grow Kkot beyond the walls of the family home.

  • Ken

    Ken is the CEO of Joybees Footwear. With over a decade of experience working in e-commerce and digital marketing at companies like Crocs, New Balance, and PopSockets, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and a passion for staying on the leading edge of the industry, enabling him to successfully integrate commerce experiences on a global scale. Ken aims to harness the power of digital technologies to drive meaningful customer experiences. 

  • Shaun

    Shaun is an electrical engineer, serial entrepreneur and business strategist.  He built an amazing friendship with Jinsan since 2015 and has been a part of Kkot in its earlier Iteration when it was Holistody. He shares his vast experience in manufacturing and business strategy at Kkot.
